Ruth Ann Goes to Market

Many of you who were customers at my quilt shop may remember Ruth Ann.

She moved back to Pittsburg several years ago and last week-end

she attended Spring Quilt Market at the Pittsburgh Convention Center.

I had here stop by the Michael Miller Fabrics booth 

and take a picture of the quilt I made for them.

There is Ruth Ann and there is my quilt! 

And just to the left is the quilt in another color way!

Fame and fortune - what more can I say???

Hope It was HAPPY!!!

I hope everyone had a Happy Mother's Day.

I had a very relaxing day.  Alison and Natalie came out for lunch and Dennis cooked burgers on the Weber grill.

I had fresh treats baked for Webster and it was a sunny day!

We made a short trek to the Dairy Queen.

A few gifts are always fun.

Fresh tulips, some Hot Mama tea and a Fitbit.

Now I can compete with the girls daily on steps and activity.

Love it!

Fabrics Flowers - for FUN!!

Natalie's birthday was last Friday and we met the girls and friends at Dugan's Bar on Halsted St. for Happy Hour!!

I picked up Alison's dog, Webster, and he joined us at the bar!

No food is served, so dogs are allowed.

We were at Natalie's on Saturday 

and she was making fabric flowers from some scraps.

Each one starts with a circle that is folded twice 

and gathered with other petals to make flowers!!

So clever!
